Intense clashes continue inside the town of Hostomel outside the Antonov airport between Russian and Ukrainian forces. Footage released by the Defense Intelligence of Ukraine about 24 hours ago show Ukrainian special forces inside Hostomel southeast of the airport (geolocation: https://goo.gl/maps/ED2iBAyKzqMv4Xdv5).

VERIFIED: Photos show the destruction in #Hostomel, a north-western suburb of #Kyiv, #Ukraine.
Geolocation confirms the photo was taken at the intersection of Sviato-Pokrovska Street and Buchans'ke Highway.

Other photos and videos released over the past day show the aftermath of fighting in the same spot as the Ukrainian Special Forces video, suggesting that the footage was taken within the past 24 to 48 hours. There is a large Russian VDV and Chechen presence in the area as fighting continues in nearby Irpin and Bucha. The Antonov airport remains under Russian control at this time.
