As we reported a few days ago, an unidentified American man was killed fighting in Ukraine.
He has been identified as Mr. Stephen D. “Steve” Zabielski, of Hernando, FL, formerly of Cranesville, NY. He died on Sunday, May 15, 2022, while fighting in the village of Dorozhniank, Ukraine. He was serving with the Ukrainian International Legion. Born on July 1, 1969 in Amsterdam, NY.
The U.S. State Department has been working with his wife and five stepchildren to repatriate his remains in which a private funeral will be held. He was employed in construction for 30 years says his obituary.
