Update: The shooter is an Asian man in his sixties who conducted the shooting during a luncheon honoring a former pastor of the Taiwanese congregation. Churchgoers subdued the shooter and hog-tied him with an electrical cord until the police arrived.

Dispatch received call of a shooting inside Geneva Presbyterian Church at 1:26pm. Four victims have been critically wounded , one with minor injuries. All victims are adults and are enroute to the hospital. One victim is deceased at the scene.

Update: One person was detained and the weapon was recovered by the Orange County Sheriff’s Department. Two ambulances have left with victims as well as a Lifeflight helicopter.
