Update (0938 EST): French government officials are postulating that this morning’s attack which has now killed three and injured five, one critically, is an act of terror. The suspect was released from prison eleven days ago. The suspect was detained in December 2021 for attacking Bercy migrant camp with a sword in Paris.

Update (0649 EST): One person has died and two are critically wounded after a gunman targeted people standing out side Centre Culturel Kurds Ahmet Kaya.
At approximately 0600 EST, reports began to emerge of gunfire on Rue d’Enghien, Paris, France. By 0610 local media began reporting that one had been arrested and at least six people had been shot. It has now been revealed that the gunman targeted the Kurdish Center Ahmet Kaya.
