Chinese authorities have started to hunt for any involved in the recent protests against COVID lockdowns. Police have been randomly stopping people on the street and then checking their phones for evidence of involvement.
Also, evidence has been found indicating that A4 paper—due to it being used as a symbol of protest—has stopped being delivered to many Chinese cities including Beijing and Shanghai.
