At approximately 1000 EST, reports of explosions and casualties began to emerge from Millerovo Airbase in Rostov Oblast, Russia.
Military bloggers are reporting that the Ukrainian Armed Forces struck with Tochka-U surface-to-surface missiles. However this has not been confirmed.
A similar attack was reported on February 25th, 2022 when Ukrainian Armed Forces reportedly struck the airbase with Tochka-U missiles.
The base is home to the 31st Guards Fighter Aviation Regiment which has two squadrons of Sukhoi Su-30SM (NATO: Flanker-H).
The 368th Assault Aviation Regiment with Sukhoi Su-25’s (NATO: Frogfoot) deployed here as part of the 2022 Russian invasion of Ukraine.
