As of writing this post, conservative estimates put about 735 protestors in police custody with 267 in St. Petersburg, which was the first city to open special conscription sites after yesterday’s mobilization announcement, and 260 in Moscow. There has also been significant protestor activity in Yekaterinburg.

The video above shows civilians filming their detention in a “paddy wagon” in Moscow after being detained by police. While there have not been significant reports of widespread rioting, this public discourse has been rare since the initial protests on February 24th in which more than 2,000 Russian citizens were arrested for protesting the invasion of Ukraine.
